Q. Are you Nordson factory authorized to provide parts and services?
A. Yes. We are an independent company that is factory authorized and factory recommended. We provide a variety of services for users of the Nordson, Slautterback, and Meltex hot melt adhesive equipment lines. We also provide rebuilding services for the S.W.F. and Plemons Machinery hot melt adhesive systems.

Q. Do you use after-market parts when providing service, repairs, or spare parts?
A. No. We use only genuine Nordson parts, materials, and technical expertise.

Q. What Nordson equipment can you service/repair/replace?
A. Adhesive melt units can have treatments ranging from scheduled preventive maintenance to clean/repair as required to complete reconditions. Hoses can be flushed and cleaned of external debris or replaced under the RBX exchange program. Glue applicators of any configuration are generally rebuildable depending on any damage found to the manifold block itself or broken/missing parts that may not be available. Slautterback and Meltex equipment is assessed on a case by case basis depending on original component availability.

Q. What is the average turnaround for most equipment?
A. Generally, we can have equipment assessed and an estimate to the customer within 3 - 5 days. Repairs/ reconditioning can be as short as 2 - 3 days for applicator rebuilds and as short as 7 -10 days for a melt unit. These are estimates only as parts availability, current shop work load, and the customer's needs are all factored in.
